Advancing Gender-Responsive Biodiversity Data Systems for Effective Implementation and Monitoring of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework
On 27 July, the CBD Women's Caucus and partners hosted a side event at SBSTTA-28 in Nairobi on closing the gender data gap in biodiversity monitoring under the KM-GBF. Moderated by Ruth Spencer, speakers examined why women's knowledge and labor remain largely invisible in biodiversity data, and what it would take to change that.
