Women have a clear and urgent demand for COP16:
The effective and immediate implementation of Target 23 of the Global Biodiversity Framework, and the CBD's Gender Plan of Action.
As critical agents of biodiversity action, women from all corners of the world, united in a powerful movement towards the People’s COP, have arrived in Cali, Colombia, to advance the recognition that gender justice is not a side issue, but a cross-cutting priority that must be embedded in every decision taken at COP 16.
It is time for decision-makers to commit to the transformative change that is needed, ensuring a future where both women and biodiversity thrive together!
