The CBD Women’s Caucus is excited to announce the release of its latest policy analyses from a gender perspective, covering the outcomes of SBSTTA-27 and SB8j-01. These analyses highlight the critical role of women and girls in all their diversity, including Indigenous women, local community women, and women of African descent, in biodiversity governance, knowledge generation, and decision-making.

The documents provide key insights into ongoing negotiations, unresolved bracketed provisions, and the actions needed to ensure that gender justice, human rights, and inclusive participation remain central to the implementation of the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF).
