This policy analysis examines the outcomes of SBI-6, focusing on key areas including resource mobilisation, the financial mechanism, the Gender Plan of Action, capacity-building, and cooperation with other conventions.

It highlights both progress achieved and critical gaps that remain, offering insights into the actions needed to advance gender-responsive implementation of the KM-GBF ahead of COP17 in Yerevan.

The analysis aims to support Parties, observers and stakeholders in strengthening inclusive, rights-based biodiversity governance.
